Fifteen precautions for the use of vertical multistage centrifugal pumps:
Check whether the multistage pump pipelines and joints are loose, and turn the multistage pump by hand to see if it is flexible.
Add bearing lubricating oil to the bearing body, observe that the oil level should be at the center line of the oil mark, and replace or replenish the lubricating oil in time.
Unscrew the water guide plug of the multistage pump body and pour water (or slurry).
Close the gate valve, outlet pressure gauge and inlet vacuum gauge of the outlet pipe.
Start the motor to see if the motor rotates correctly.
The multistage pump is out of service for a long time. The pump must be completely disassembled, wiped dry, and grease applied to the rotating parts and joints.
Try to control the flow and head of the multistage pump within the range indicated on the label to ensure that the multistage pump operates at the highest efficiency point and obtain the maximum energy saving effect.
During the operation of the multistage pump, the bearing temperature shall not exceed the ambient temperature of 35C, and the maximum temperature shall not exceed 80C.
If the multistage pump makes an abnormal sound, it should be stopped immediately to check the cause.
When the multistage pump stops, close the gate valve and pressure gauge first, and then stop the motor.
In the first month of operation of the multistage pump, change the lubricating oil every 100 hours, and change the oil every 500 hours thereafter.
The packing gland of the multistage pump should be adjusted frequently to ensure normal dripping in the packing cavity (it is best to let the dripping water out).
Regularly check the wear of the multistage pump sleeve and replace it in time if it is worn out.
When the multistage pump is used in the cold winter, after stopping, it is necessary to unscrew the drain plug at the bottom of the pump body to release the medium and prevent freezing and cracking.
Start the motor. When the multistage pump is running normally, open the outlet pressure gauge and the inlet vacuum pump to see if the pressure displayed is appropriate, then gradually open the gate valve and check the motor load at the same time.
